Growing up, my grandfather meant everything to me. He taught me how to play the violin. After he passed away, I wanted to create a design that honors the time that we shared together through music and that incorporates his birth month flower. It serves as a constant reminder of how much I love and miss him.

The Ammann’s Dairy sign was an important part of my family’s business. However, it was tarnish due to age. I felt inclined to recreate the sign for my grandmother and her brothers. Although it will never be the original, it serves as a memoir of my family’s past.
